PERMANENT MAKEUP

Permanent makeup is a treatment in which pigment is placed under the skin to colour the chosen area. As a treatment and technique, it is related to tattooing, but it isn’t fully permanent. It isn’t used to create images or text on the skin, or long-lasting makeup looks.

Permanent makeup, also called cosmetic tattooing, is most often done on the eyebrows, the lash line and the lips. It enhances these areas, above all their colour. Every pigmentation treatment aims to colour the area exactly as the client wishes. The goal is a long-lasting colour in the chosen shade, giving the area clear, strong colour and reducing the need for everyday makeup. The colour can either enhance the area’s natural tones or add a completely different, usually bold, colour.

How long permanent makeup lasts varies from person to person and depends on circumstances. It normally lasts 1–3 years, but it can last up to 4 years. The colour lasts longer on normal and dry skin than on oily skin. Other factors, such as certain medications, frequent facial treatments, face creams and a lot of sun exposure, can make the colour fade faster.

Eyeliner can be done either by working the colour into the base of the lashes or by creating a defined line on the upper eyelid.
The eyeliner can be softly blended or given a trendy colour effect. It can be applied to the upper lid only, or to both the upper and lower lids.

When you have permanent makeup done for the first time, a touch-up session after 3–5 weeks is essential. After the first treatment, some of the colour flakes off, and the final result is visible one month after the touch-up. Maintenance touch-ups are done individually every 1–3 years.

Eyeliner permanent makeup can’t be done if you have lash extensions.

Lip Permanent Makeup

Lip pigmentation makes everyday life easier and quicker, because your lips always look finished!

For the best result, we recommend two pigmentation sessions: the first treatment plus a touch-up. The touch-up is done about 2 months after the first session.

Using safe pigments is very important to us. High-quality pigments ensure the best possible result and help the colour fade evenly and beautifully. We use LaBina® pigments.

Eyebrow Pigmentation with Hairstroke Technique

"The hairstroke technique" is a lighter and more natural treatment. It creates a natural-looking result by pigmenting individual fine lines, or “hairs”, onto the skin. The lines are placed to follow the natural direction of your brow hair growth. Rather than pigmenting the whole area, some skin is left unpigmented between the strokes. This makes the brows look more natural and less made-up.

The pigment lasts on the skin for 1–2 years, after which the treatment can be renewed.

Eyebrow Pigmentation

Permanent makeup is a technique in which we use a needle to place safe, finely ground pigments into the upper layers of the skin.

Permanent makeup makes everyday life easier, and it’s also an excellent choice for people with allergies to regular makeup.

Our goal is always a result you’ll love. We plan it together with you before the treatment, going through the shape of your brows and the colour we’ll use. We always want to create a result that’s tailored to each client.

Before your permanent makeup treatment

  • Remove any mascara before your appointment

  • No coffee or other caffeinated products for a few hours before your treatment.

  • Avoid aspirin and anti-inflammatory painkillers (such as ibuprofen) for 48 hours before your treatment.
